...the World Class Driving Experience
Legend has it, everything is bigger in Texas. The total horses under the hoods of the five super cars turned out to be big; Texas big. (All five super cars combined exceeded 2500 horsepower.)
Automotive fantasy camps, where drivers get to spend a day behind the wheel of cars they would normally only dream about, are becoming an increasingly popular pastime... ...World Class Driving, a group holding supercar events since 2006, has a new dream machine for drivers to sample: a 650 horsepower Callaway Corvette C16 Coupe.
When the folks at World Class Driving asked Playboy.com to try out their supercar driving program, it didn't take long to convince us. The statistics alone had us packing our bags. The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, for instance, has a top speed of more than 200 miles an hour... ...and there are fewer than 100 Ferrari 599 GTB Fioranos in the United States.
With the help of World Class Driving, we got behind the wheels of some pretty wild rides and were asked to tame the roads of scenic Hawaii as best we could. With tips and tricks from their knowledgeable instructors, we’re proud to say our boyhood fantasies have become manly realities and we’re now going to pass on the ultimate supercar driving tips to you....
World Class Driving proudly introduces blisteringly fast, sinfully styled Corvette Callaway C16 Coupe into its 2008 fleet.
It took but a couple of minutes for the camera-toting tourists to forget the natural beauty of the Everglades and focus on the screaming red Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. For me, it was just a pit stop along Alligator Alley after a mind-blowing 40 miles, all 612 horses of this beastly V-12 thundering through the serene sawgrass and marshes.
Rod and I had the opportunity on a beautiful day in May to go to Sedona Arizona and spent some 150 miles worth of seat time in six of the most stunning cars I’ve ever had the privilege to drop my derriere in.
Bill Zervakos, two for the road
For six thrilling hours, I recently road-tested a collection of six exotic cars that are collectively valued at $1.4 million.

WCD will visit more than 30 states, and plans 80-100 dates around the country next year. What I like about this program, besides the obvious, is that while $1295 is a lot of money for any half day event, you'll drive about $1.3 Million worth of cars in that time. Sure, you can rent a Lambo or Ferrari for a day and take it wherever you want, but you'll pay more than that, and only drive a single car, not five or six. So if you like prefer gourmet buffet over a single course, this is your deal.
Enter a new breed of outfit that charges customers an affordable fee to pilot a bunch of exotics in a single day... In all, we put in more than 220 miles, and the drive lasts almost five hours.

They were 1st class all-the-way. It is supposed to last 3-4 hours, and we were out there for 6(!) Instead of 35 minutes in each car, it was more like 45 minutes.

Some days are better than others, and this had definitely been one of the better ones. I'd just had wheel time in a Ferrari 599GTB, Mercedes-McLaren SLR, Porsche 911 GT3, Lamborghini Gallardo, and an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, entertaining friends of Motor Trend on fast and empty desert canyon roads.

If you love cars and want to own some of the greatest barroom banter any of your buddies will ever have, check out World Class Driving.
World Class Driving, allows mere mortals behind the wheel of the five or six cars on most gearheads' wish list, while traversing some of the best roads and scenery available in more than 40 markets across the U.S.
You have not lived as a car fan until you hear and feel a Ferrari F430 or a Lamborghini Gallardo accelerate at full throttle through the gears.
